Preserving History at TVMA

The Mark Francis Museum of Veterinary History is housed in the rotunda of the TVMAbuilding. The purpose of the museum is to tell the story of veterinary medicine in Texas and to emphasize the ways in which the profession has benefited society. It includes medical instruments, medical documents, and a comprehensive timeline of the last century of veterinary practice. The exhibit is supervised by the Museum Oversight Committee.

If you’d like be a part of this exciting endeavor, contact our office at 512/452-4224 or ltibbitts@tvma.org. The Museum is located at 8104 Exchange Dr., Austin, TX, 78754.
